The manger points to the throne.
The cross points to the crown.
And Advent points us forward.
The King of Glory came.
The King of Glory reigns.
And the King of Glory will come again.
So lift your head.
Fix your eyes.
And step into the new year with confidence -
because He who promised is faithful, and He is making all things new.
